Ysbrydoliaeth / Inspiration

Dwi ar ganol cynllunio cyfres ffasiwn yn seliedig ar y teitl 'Yr Ardd Gudd' sy'n mynd i gael ei dynnu yng ngardd agored Caerau Uchaf ger y Bala. Mae'r lleoliad yn un hudolus a hyfryd. Dwi methu aros i dynnu lluniau fy model sydd hefo gwallt coch, bendigedig o gyrliog a hir a creu awyrgylch swrealaidd a rhyfeddol. Dyma rai o ddelweddau sy'n ysbrydoliaeth i mi ar hyn o bryd. Yma hefyd mae lluniau o fy nhaith i Gaerau Uchaf i gael golwg gynta ar y lleoliad.

I'm currently in the process of planning a fashion series based on the title 'The Secret Garden' which will be shot in the open garden at Caerau Uchaf near Bala. The location is just so magical and beautiful. I cannot wait to shoot my model, who has magnificent red, curly hair and creating a surreal and fantastical atmosphere. Here are some images which inspire me and also some shots from the day I went to Caerau Uchaf to scout the location.

Candelas

Mi wnes i 'shoot' hefo'r band Cymraeg 'Candelas' tair neu bedair mis yn ol yn Llanuwchllyn, lle mae nhw'n recordio eu EP cyntaf. Dwi'n ffrindiau da hefo'r grwp ers blynyddoedd, a gwych oedd cael y siawns i dynnu lluniau ohonynt. Gobeithio creu awyrgylch 'grungy' ac amgen oeddwn hefo'r lluniau, sy'n siwtio eu steil o gerddoriaeth roc. Dyma flas o'r gwaith y gwnes i ar y diwrnod.

I had a shoot with the Welsh band 'Candelas' about four months ago in Llanuwchllyn, where they're recording their debut EP.  I've been good friends with the band for many years, having attended high school with them. I hoped to create a grungy and alternative feel to these photographs which reflects their rock music style. Here's a taste of the work I did for them.

There were a few issues with focus, especially in the dark woods.

Elen read the first few pages of The Cement Garden and was highly disturbed! Don't think Beca was keen on the weird goings on in the book either..
